I've worked with Tom over 5 years now to purchase one property and help rent another. I've worked with several agents over the years and none has ever matched Tom in dedication and commitment to his clients. He is hardworking, honest, committed, fair, thoughtful and very pleasant to deal with. His professionalism is unmatched. For example, when purchasing my second property in Mill Valley, he alerted me to the house but insisted I buy it through the original agent whom I had been working with to find it. He was more concerned about finding me the right property than earning the commission.

We met Tom Bolles by accident when walking around Mill Valley on our first visit to Marin. My husband and I were considering moving out here and stumbled into Tom's office. He spent the afternoon showing me different homes and informing me about the various towns in Marin. Over the course of the next year, when my husband and I were able to finally make the move, Tom became in our eyes, the best broker EVER! We have bought and sold several apartments in NYC and rented around the States and never have we come across someone so knowledgeable about an area (helps that he was born and raised in Marin), generous with his time, honest about a home being the right "home" for us and just genuinely a good guy. We were in search of an investment property in Mill Valley when we met Tom Bolles. Shortly after our first meeting he attended a buy/sell meeting and learned about a property that had not yet come on the market. We immediately decided that the property he recommended on Pine Hill Road could work for us if we could negotiate the right price.
Tom researched the property, including its tax records, lease agreements, and permit history, and helped us determine the potential investment value of the property. All of this enabled us to make a quick decision before the listing agent even put it on the market. He was very thorough and diligent in the entire process of negotiations, inspections, and closing the deal.

My wife and I were not completely serious about or committed to moving from our home of 23 years in Greenbrae. Tom met with us and readily understood the particulars of what each of us were looking for in a new home.
We both very much appreciated Tom’s non-pushy attitude and approach in letting us know about houses that might work for us as they appeared on the market. He was conscientious about pointing out both good and bad aspects of different homes. Tom saw how well the house we bought fit our needs and was very prompt when we were ready to make an offer.

If there was a ten star rating for realtors, I'd give Tom Bolles and Kim Strub all ten -- and then some!
I contacted them in September of 2019 with the daunting task of selling my father's home. The home was still packed to the hilt with stuff plus, although the house was in Mill Valley, I lived in Oregon. I had received a raving recommendation from a family friend, and after our first meeting, I was certain they were the ones.
Besides their integrity, professionalism, kindness (a thousand times over!), they were so wise to know exactly when we should list the house. They guided me in every step--repairs, cleaning, prep including staging, and even some occasional counseling whenever I started to worry. They answered every phone call or text, and did so timely. They went way above and beyond in their effort to get the house ready and to make it look its very best. We had three offers immediately, and I'm both pleased (and relieved) to say we closed March 10th of this year. Six months - from the time I first reached out to them! And this was with the challenge of a house full of furniture and belongings and me living a state away.
I am so grateful and so pleased with their service. They are an amazing team!
